Many of the plotters got together on a warm, sunny Sunday at Heathryfold Allotments to work their way through the maintenance jobs that are part and parcel of being a plotter here.
It was the day that we finally got the chance after the pandemic to put in place our memorial bench for all those plotters who have sadly passed. It’s located in our communal area that can be used by all plotters to chill out and enjoy the great views back over the Don valley looking north. Thanks to Wood Recyclability a great social enterprise based locally in Pitmedden for making the bench for us.
Thank-you to all the plotters who gave up a small amount of time today and picked a job and got stuck in. We have posted some pictures of the work below – hopefully you can spot yourself or the area you were working at and can see the difference you have made!

And here are the results of the work done today. Plenty more jobs for the next tidy day on the last Sunday of July weather permitting.

Looking fantastic !!
