Perimeter road improvements were made at the west end of the site this week including the installation of drainage and a soakway drain to help with the issues of surface water at that end of the allotments. We also took the opportunity to tidy up a few other areas around the site as well.

Maintaining the amenities around the site is an important part of managing and maintaining the allotment site for the benefit of all members of the association. Longest day of the year and another funny old day with weather. This Plot looking good though!

A few pictures from around the plots on the last day of spring. Veg and Flowers growing well and some very well maintained plots. After a cold May hopefully the weather will start to turn a bit warmer.

The contractor continued today with putting in the soak away drain down a section of the road and into the corner .   A fantastic job done by John Duncan Plant Hire completing the whole job in 2 days.  Hopefully we will see a  big difference this winter and no longer have any standing water at […]
